Empowering Communities Through Wellness Education

At Wellness Academy, we believe in holistic health, compassionate care, and lifelong learning.

Our Story

Who we are?

Wellness Academy was founded in 2023 by Dr. Jeanne Assinthe, a visionary trauma-informed care expert and licensed clinical social worker. two decades of frontline experience in mental health and community wellness, our academy represents the culmination of her life's work bridging clinical expertise with accessible community education.

What began as a bold vision to democratize trauma-informed care education has quickly grown into a pioneering institution, training hundreds of professionals in our first year alone through both virtual and in-person programs.

The Inspiration Behind Wellness Academy

Dr. Assinthe often shares:

"After 20 years of seeing how trauma ripples through families and communities, I realized we needed to stop just treating symptoms and start equipping people with the tools to heal at the root. Wellness Academy exists to train the healers our world desperately needs."
